Did you Know?
"McGuire"returns for second run
Performances set for June
Actor
Cotter Smith made people believe — for an hour — that
Al McGuire was back at Marquette. If you missed it once, don’t
miss it again.
“McGuire,” the one-man play about former Marquette
basketball coach Al McGuire, will return for a second run on
campus this summer. Smith will reprise
his performance as McGuire in the production
being staged by the Department of Performing Arts from June 1 to 11.
CBS
sports commentator Dick Enberg wrote the play as a tribute
to his former colleague. The play revisits the coach’s
life, from growing up in Brooklyn through the 1977 NCAA championship
game to his career as a broadcaster. Tickets
will go on sale April 10 at the Helfaer
Theatre Box Office.
For information on the play,

site.
