2000

Matthew R. Culligan, Arts ’00, joined the practice at the Dental Park in Manitowoc, Wis. He earned his D.D.S. from Creighton University in Omaha in 2005.

Mary Catherine Van Etten, Comm ’00, was appointed account executive for Citysearch. Her responsibilities include selling advertising on the Web site, which lists hotels, restaurants, bars and clubs, shopping spots, movies, spas and events in Chicago.

2001 Reunion Year

Jennifer A. Chisholm, Comm ’01, was named district manager with Hallmark Retail. Her territory is based in San Francisco.

Michael J.A. Leinauer, Eng ’01, joined Armstrong Teasdale in St. Louis as a member of the firm’s intellectual property group. He is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, and focuses primarily on patent prosecution.

Adam O. Shanti, Law ’01, joined Mayer, Brown, Rowe & Maw LLP as an associate in the finance group.

2002

John P. Beehner, Bus Ad ’02, performed in a comedy show at the Audubon Comedy Club in Mayville, Wis. He was featured with several other comedians.

Nicholas L. D’Agosto, Comm ’02, appeared in an episode of the WB Network’s “Related.” He has also appeared in episodes of House, “ER,” and “Six Feet Under.”

Daniel A. Cellitti, Bus Ad ’02, was named business development manager within the national accounts group of International Truck and Engine Corp. He resides in Las Vegas.

Robert M. Hart, Comm ’02, was named the evening news anchor at WGN-AM (720) in Chicago. Previously he was news anchor for WTMJ in Milwaukee.

Angela M. Henschel, Grad ’02, was elected to the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners Board of Regents. She is a certified public accountant and certified fraud examiner, and also works as director of Axium Consulting in Chicago.

Alice H. LaFave, Arts ’02, joined Polsinelli Shalton Welte Suelthaus in St. Louis as an associate in the litigation department.

Patrick L. Tynan, Comm ’02, is assistant technical director for the theatre department at the University of Evansville in Indiana. The department was invited to bring the production of Anatomy of Gray to the Kennedy Center/American College Theatre regional festival. He resides in Evansville.

2003

Daniel C. Augustine, Comm ’03, provided the cover design and illustrations for the advertising textbook Advertising Strategy: Creative Tactics from the Outside/In. The textbook was co-authored by Marquette faculty members Thomas B. Altstiel and Dr. Jean M. Grow.

Patrick S. Fennelly, Comm ’03, was hired by Ellingsen Brady Advertising in Milwaukee as a member of the public relations team. He previously worked as the marketing and public relations manager for the Milwaukee Chamber Theatre.

Aubrey E. Linder, H Sci ’03, Prof St ’04, was featured in an interview in The Herald-News in Joliet, Ill. She is a physician assistant in pain management at the Joliet Pain Care Center.

Charles E. Sanchez, Comm ’03, is employed as vice president at Empower Public Relations, responsible for the public relations activities of the Berman Center in Chicago.

Matthew R. Wessel, Comm ’03, was recognized by the American Cancer Society for organizing his annual Concert for Life. Since the inaugural event in 2002, the Concert for Life has raised more than $80,000 for the society in honor of friends and family who lost their battles with cancer.

Mindy N. Wiesjahn, Law ’03, joined the North Central Trust Co., an investment management and financial services company, as a personal trust administrator. She previously worked as a judicial law clerk for the La Crosse County Circuit Court and is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin.

2004

John R. Bobek, Comm ’04, appeared in an episode of the WB Network’s “Related.” He has also appeared in episodes of “The West Wing” and “How I Met Your Mother.”

Richard S. Pruszynski, Arts ’04, was named head coach of the lacrosse team at Marquette University High School in Milwaukee. He served as the team captain of the Marquette University lacrosse team for two years and is a teacher at St. Rose School in Milwaukee.

Adam W. Rose, Arts ’04, is an AmeriCorps volunteer in Pass Christian, Miss., helping with Hurricane Katrina relief efforts in the area. He also helped to encourage fundraising and volunteer efforts in his hometown of LaMoille, Ill.

Caitlin M. Suess, Comm ’04, is marketing coordinator for the Milwaukee Brewers Baseball Club. She previously worked for the club as an intern and as a member of the in-game promotional Brew Crew team.

2005

Brianna J. Dahm, Arts ’05, received the McCahill Award at halftime of the Marquette vs. Connecticut basketball game in January. The postgraduate award is given to former Marquette athletes who have shown achievement in athletics, scholarship and service to the university.

Nichole A. Kinateder, Comm ’05, is special events coordinator for the Milwaukee Brewers Baseball Club. She was an intern with the club for the 2005 season.

Steven G. Kirby, Grad ’05, received his commission as a Naval officer following completion of Officer Candidate School at Officer Training Command, Pensacola, Fla.

Timothy H. Lindau, Law ’05, joined Nowlan & Mouat LLP in Janesville, Wis., as an associate attorney. He works primarily in the litigation department and is a member of the Rock County and Wisconsin State Bar Associations.

Andrea (Duchan) Pennington, Grad ’05, is a physician assistant at Aspirus General Clinic in Antigo, Wis.

Anna (Kalupa) Schaffer, Dent ’05, joined Waushara Dental Associates in Wautoma, Wis.

Dawn T. Shaha, Law ’05, joined Buss & Burleson SC in Watertown, Wis. Previously, she interned with Judge Margaret Dee McGarity and worked as a law clerk at the Milwaukee law firm of Miller & Miller.

Timothy M. Van de Kamp, Law ’05, is an associate attorney at DeWitt, Ross & Stevens in Brookfield, Wis. His practice focuses on business matters, real estate issues and litigation.
