1990

Michelle (Nicolai) Jurena, PT ’90, was hired as a physical therapist by Homestead Physical Therapy in Cedarburg, Wis. She specializes in sports medicine, orthopedics, pediatrics and industrial injuries.

Theodore D. Kafkas, Law ’90, was a candidate for the position of municipal judge in Franklin, Wis. He is in private practice and volunteers for Legal Action of Wisconsin, an organization that provides free legal services to low-income people.

Gary P. Waters, Bus Ad ’90, is the new pastor at the First United Methodist Church of McHenry in McHenry, Ill. He attended the Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary and previously served at the First United Church of Belvidere (Ill.)

1991 Reunion Year

Melissa K. Cook, Arts ’91, was named a fellow in the leadership training program of the American Indian Higher Education Consortium. The program includes training in financial management, fundraising, academic achievement and tribal sovereignty. The program prepares senior level administrators for the country’s tribal colleges and universities.

Shawn M. Govern, Law ’91, is a shareholder in the firm of Petrie & Stocking SC in Milwaukee. He is admitted to practice before all Wisconsin trial and appellate courts, the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Wisconsin, and the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals.

Jeffrey A. Jacoby, Eng ’91, completed his orthopedic surgery residency in July 2005 in Akron, Ohio, and is completing a one-year spine surgery fellowship at Rocky Mountain Spine in Lone Tree, Colo. He has accepted a spine surgery position at Lakeshore Orthopedics with Holy Family Memorial Hospital in Manitowoc, Wis. His wife, Kathleen (O’Connor) Jacoby, Eng ’91, continues to work part time for Accenture out of the Denver office. The couple and their four children will relocate to Manitowoc in August.  
John P. McGahey, Arts ’91, was named the chief revenue officer for Click4Care, a provider of medical management software. He will head the national sales and marketing efforts. Previously, he worked as senior vice president and chief revenue officer for GTESS Corp.

Amy (Ridley) Meyers, Arts ’91, joined St. Agnes Hospital Behavioral Health Services in Fond du Lac, Wis. She serves as a child psychologist for children 2 to 18 years old, and specializes in panic, phobias, obsessive-compulsive disorders, and mood and anxiety disorders.

Timothy R. Nass, Arts ’91, the regional marketing and sales manager for Wausau Window and Wall System, expanded his service area to include California, Indiana, Iowa, Minnesota, Nevada, New Jersey, New York and Wisconsin. His primary duties include market development, long-range planning and day-to-day implementation.

Robert C. Pivonka, Comm ’91, was named an associate at Millisor & Nobil Co. LPA, a management-side labor and employment law firm headquartered in Cleveland.

1992

Robert J. Brill, Law ’92, joined Ziolkowski Patent Solutions Group SC as director of the Chicago office. Previously, he was a founding partner at the Chicago firm Patti & Brill LLC until its dissolution.

Judith M. Pendergast, Law ’92, joined the Hammond Law Group in Cincinnati as an associate.

Eric J. Truesdale, Comm ’92, was named group supervisor in the public relations group of Bader Rutter & Associates. His responsibilities include leading public relations efforts for the Schneider Electric account. He was previously an account supervisor with the agency.

Jeffrey M. Welsch, Arts ’92, was featured in St. Nicholas Hospital HealthSource, a special feature that runs in a variety of newspapers in southern Wisconsin. HealthSource answers questions and provides information about common health problems.

Daniel J. Williams, CJPA ’92, was elected senior vice president and private client adviser at Bank of America’s Private Bank in New York. He and his team provide investment management, credit, banking, and trust and estate management advice for families, individuals and small institutions. He and his wife, Kristen, reside in New York City.

1993

Patrick R. Flesch, Arts ’93, is working as director of applications at Ingersoll Machine Tools Inc. in Rockford, Ill.

Daniel S. Hendrickson, S.J., Arts ’93, was ordained a Jesuit priest in June at Creighton University in Omaha. He will spend the year in Eastern Africa before returning to the United States for doctoral work.

1994

W. Nicholas Abraham, Grad ’94, is president of the Abraham Group, a marketing, training and consulting firm based in Baton Rouge, La. His Angel of God project assisted in relief efforts following Hurricane Katrina.

Jennifer (Eichholz) Dorris, Bus Ad ’94, joined the firm of Quarles & Brady Streich Lang in Phoenix as an associate in the corporate law practice group.

Stefanie (Pollock) Chambers, Arts ’94, wrote the book Mayors & Schools: Minority Voices and Democratic Tensions in Urban Education published by Temple University. She is a professor of political science at Trinity College in Hartford, Conn.

Kristen L. Maskala, Arts ’94, facilitated the Synergy-health Hoops Camp, held at the University of Wisconsin–Washington County. A former All-American member of the Marquette women’s basketball team, she worked with young campers to develop their basketball skills.

1995

John A. Garrido Ardila, Grad ’95, was appointed assistant professor of European languages and cultures at the University of Edinburgh in Great Britain. Formerly an assistant professor in Spain and an associate researcher at the University of Cambridge, he has published three books and more than 30 scholarly articles on the theory of literature and applied linguistics.

Kristin (Rinzel) Ferge, Bus Ad ’95, was with the Brookdale Management team that rang the New York Stock Exchange opening bell on Jan. 18, 2006. She is executive vice president, chief administrative officer and treasurer of Brookdale Senior Living. She works in Milwaukee.

Timothy T. Griffin, Comm ’95, joined the writing staff of HBO’s “Entourage.” The hit comedy by executive producer Mark Wahlberg follows the life of an up-and-coming Hollywood actor and his friends.

1996 Reunion Year

Lea A. Hammen, Law ’96, was elected vice president and treasurer for the Menasha Corp. Formerly the company’s director of executive compensation, her duties now include cash management, corporate real estate, bank relations and insurance/risk management, credit and collections, leasing oversight and corporate finance.

Neil B. Posner, Law ’96, was hired by the Chicago-based law firm Much Shelist as a principle and head of the firm’s policy holder’s insurance department. Also, he was named an Illinois Super Lawyer in the insurance coverage category.

David M. Williams, Comm ’96, was named director of development ­annuities in Purdue University’s Office of Planned Giving. Previously, he was employed as the university’s communication coordinator.

1997

Sean O. Bosack, Law ’97, was elected to the position of shareholder with the law firm of Godfrey & Kahn SC. He is a member of the Milwaukee office’s litigation practice group.

David K. Geddam, Eng ’97, was appointed clinical validation manager at Camtronics Medical Systems in Hartland, Wis. He is also working toward a graduate degree in health care technology management in the program that is offered jointly by Marquette and the Medical College of Wisconsin.

Patrick S. Nolan, Law ’97, was named partner at Quarles & Brady in Milwaukee.

1999

Robert E. Lehr, Comm ’99, was named vice president of M&I Equipment Finance in Phoenix.
