Edward J. Scott, Bus Ad ’80, celebrated 25 years with Caterpillar Financial Services Corp. in Nashville, Tenn. He is executive vice president and chief financial officer there.
Stephen A. Szymanski, Grad ’80, was named general manager for business development at U.S. Steel Corp. in Pittsburgh. With the company since 1974, he was previously general manager for enterprise resource planning.

Ronald G. Gulotta, Arts ’81, was named an Arthur M. Kaplan Fellow for 2006-07 in recognition of outstanding contributions to education. He is an associate professor of sociology at the University of Wisconsin–Waukesha.

Daniel R. Meckes, Eng ’82, was elected president of Crawford, Murphy & Tilly Inc. He joined the company in 1983.
Christopher J. Baldwin, Bus Ad ’83, was honored by Barron’s as a top-100 investment banker in the United States. He is director of private banking for Credit Suisse in Chicago.
Rev. Br. Robert L. Anello, Grad ’84, was ordained to the diaconate by Most Rev. Francisco Gonzalez, S.F., auxiliary bishop of the Archdiocese of Washington, D.C. He presented “Americanism and the Catholic Citizen, 1885-1900: Humphrey Desmond’s Perspective” at Marquette University during the spring meeting of the American Catholic Historical Association.
Steven L. Bergelin, Bus Ad ’84, successfully completed the REALTOR e-PRO course to become one of a select few real estate professionals to earn the prestigious certification offered through the National Association of REALTORS.
Monica (Ford) Eppinger, Arts ’84, is assistant director at Elizabeth Free Public Library in Elizabeth, N.J. The library comprises four branches and is the fourth largest library
system in the state.
Micabil Diaz-Martinez, Arts ’86, Law ’89, received the Hoban-Davenport Award from Disabled American Veterans of Wisconsin in recognition of service in the advancement of employment opportunities for disabled veterans. He also received the Hispanic Man of the Year award from United Migrant Opportunities Services, for advocacy on behalf of the state’s Hispanic community.

Steven J. Slawinski, Law ’86, was named one of Wisconsin’s top construction attorneys by The Daily Reporter and Wisconsin Law Journal. He is an attorney with O’Neil, Cannon, Hollman, DeJong SC.

Dr. Martin G. Leever, Arts ’87, Grad ’89, received the Outstanding Faculty of the Year award at the University of Detroit–Mercy, where he has taught philosophy and medical ethics for seven years.
Michael D. Gannon, Eng ’88, Law ’91, joined McDonnell Boehnen Hulbert & Berghoff LLP as a partner. He focuses on patent litigation, prosecution, licensing and opinion work in electrical, mechanical and software fields.
John C. Herman, Arts ’88, was named partner in the Atlanta office of Duane Morris LLP and vice chair of the Duane Morris Intellectual Property Practice Group.
Andrew S. Weinstein, Arts ’89, was named manager of international sales for Libby Inc., covering Australia, New Zealand, the Philippines and Pacific Rim. He has been with the company for 13 years.
