1962 Reunion Year
James K. Michels, Eng ’62, founder of Engineering Enterprises Inc., was elected to CEO. He also serves on the boards of Waubonsee Community College in Sugar Grove, Ill., and Blackberry Township, Ill.
Charles N. Librizzi, Jour ’65, an interpreter at Strawberry Banke Museum in Portsmouth, N.H., was honored with the Staff Member of the Year award.
Joseph C. Polito, Arts ’65, was appointed associate judge for the Circuit Court of Will County, Ill. He and his wife, Martha, became grandparents in 2006 when grandson Reese was born.
D. Richard Barder, Bus Ad ’66, completed a cross-country bicycle trip in the spirit of Père Marquette, traveling from Washington state to Yorktown, Va. Dr. Philip J. Hinton, Arts ’66, joined him for part of the adventure.
Roger S. McCabe, Bus Ad ’66, was elected an advocate member of the Houston chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocacy. He met the requirement of trying 100-plus cases as lead counsel to a jury verdict representing plaintiffs and defendants.
1967 Reunion Year
Rev. Kevin Shanley, Grad ’67, a staff member at the Carmelite Spiritual Center in Darien, Ill., celebrated the 50th anniversary of his ordination to the priesthood with a Jubilee Mass.
Daniel M. Callahan, Jour ’68, joined the Jewish Guild for the Blind as director of the Children’s Health Initiative. He was previously the downstate regional coordinator for the New York State Commission for the Blind and Visually Handicapped.
Nicholas J. DiMichael, Arts ’69, was named president of the Association of Transpor-tation Law Professionals. He is a partner with the law firm Thompson Hine LLP.
Mary Patricia (White) Radle, Arts ’69, is on the San Antonio City Council. She was selected by Mayor Phil Hardberger to co-lead the San Antonio Community Council to End Homelessness.
