APWA Chicago Metro Chapter Scholarship
Amount:  $1,000
Deadline:  April 29, 2016

Applicant may be any student who resides within the geographic boundaries of the APWA Southwest Branch of the Chicago Metro Chapter (Counties of Grundy, Kankakee, Will and the area in Cook County South of 95th Street) and who will be studying civil or environmental engineering, traffic engineering, public works administration or other programs within the public works field.  Email emily.casanta@marquette.edu for application.

Northwest Branch Goodell Scholarship
Amount:  $2,000
Deadline:  April 29, 2016

Applicant must be a permanent resident in Northwest WI (see website for specific counties).  Applicant must have completed at least one full year of academic study in engineering curriculum.

Applicants must be majoring in Engineering, Applied Science, Material Science, Computer Science and Math.  Various scholarships are available.  Only one application is required to be considered for all the sponsored scholarships and HENAAC will determine the various scholarships you qualify for.

Richard E. Merwin Scholarship

Open to full-time juniors, seniors and graduate students in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science or a well-defined computer related field who are active members of the IEEE Computer Society student branch chapter at their institution.  Applicant must have a minimum GPA of at least 2.5.

Surface Mount Technology Association Scholarship

Applicant must be members, or children of members, of the WI SMTA Chapter, OR local Wisconsin students majoring in a program of study related to the electronics industry.  Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA.

American Institute of Steel Constructions Scholarships

Applicant may be undergraduate juniors, seniors or Master's level graduate students studying civil engineering, architectural engineering, construction engineering, or construction management programs.  Applicant must be enrolled full-time and be a U.S. citizen.

ASM Materials Education Foundation Scholarships
Amount:  $1,500 - $10,000

Applicants must be a Material Advantage Student member and have an intended or declared major in metallurgy or materials science engineering.  Applicants majoring in related science or engineering disciplines will be considered if they demonstrate a strong academic emphasis and interest in materials science.  Applicant must have completed 1 year of college to apply.

Engineering Technology Scholarships

Applicants must be enrolled full-time in an ABET-accredited engineering or engineering technology program leading to a Bachelor of Science degree or any engineering technology program leading to an Associate of Science degree relating to HVAC&R.  Applicants must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0.

Jim Anderson Scholarship
Amount:  $1,250

Applicants must be enrolled in a BS or BE full-time engineering program with a focus on environmental issues, particularly water/wastewater. Such programs could include but are not limited to: environmental engineering, civil engineering with an environmental emphasis, chemical or mechanical engineering with an environmental emphasis. Applicant must be in good standing at a college or university and will be a junior, senior, or graduate student in the upcoming academic year.

Applicant must be a U.S. citizen and have a major directly related to the plumbing-heating-cooling profession, such as, business management, construction management with a specialization in mechanical construction, and mechanical engineering.

The SPE Foundation offers numerous scholarships to students who have demonstrated or expressed an interest in the plastics industry.  This would include, but is not limited to, plastics engineering, polymer science, chemistry, physics, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering and industrial engineering.

A.T. Anderson Memorial Scholarship Program
Amount:  $1,000 - $2,000
Deadline:  May 2, 2016

Applicants must be a current AISES member enrolled full-time as an undergraduate or graduate student.  Eligible majors include math, physical science, engineering, medicine, technology, science, or natural resources.  Applicant must also be a member of an American Indian tribe or otherwise considered to be an American Indian by the tribe with which affiliation is claimed; or is at least 1/4 American Indian Blood; or is at least 1/4 Alaskan native by an Alaskan native group.  3.0 minimum GPA is required. www.aises.org

AISES Intel Scholarship
Amount:  $5,000 and $10,000

Applicant must be an American Indian/Alaska Native pursuing a degree in the science, technology, engineering or math fields.  Applicant must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and be an AISES member.

Burlington Northern Santa Fe Foundation Scholarship

Available to American Indian high school seniors, who reside in states serviced by the Burlington Northern and Santa Fe Pacific Corporation and its affiliated companies: AZ, CA, CO, KS, MN, MO, NM, ND, OK, OR, SD, and WA. Eligible majors include business, engineering, math, medicine/health administration, natural/physical sciences, technology and education.

Applicant must be either a veteran, a child of a military veteran, or a military spouse who is enrolled in a full-time undergraduate engineering program working toward a bachelor's degree.  Applicant must have completed at least 60 semester hours and have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Applicant must be a female incoming freshman enrolled full time with a minimum GPA of 3.5 and a US citizen or permanent resident of the US and not receiving funding from another organization. Applicant must be enrolled in a baccalaureate ABET/CSAB accredited engineering or computer science degree program.

WI Counties Solid Waste Management Association Scholarship

Ralph Modjeski Scholarship Fund

Applicant must be an engineering or architectural student at a four-year college or university. Graduate students are also eligible to apply. Applicant must be entering at least their sophomore year when applying. Preference given to students with a permanent residence in IL and attending institutions in the Midwest region (IL, WI, IA, IN, MI, MO, an OH only). Applicant must demonstrate excellent academic achievements as well as a commitment to engineering.
