Applicant must be a U.S. citizen and full-time student attending (or planning to attend) an accredited institution of higher learning, pursuing a degree in pre-law, paralegal studies, or working towards their juris doctorate in any concentration of the law.  Applicant must have and a 3.0 or higher GPA.

Applicant may be any undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a business or law-oriented degree program.

Jeremy D. Protas LGBT Patent Law Scholarship
Amount:  $1,000
Deadline:  July 31, 2015

Applicant must be a lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender person enrolled as a student for the 2015-16 academic year at an ABA-accredited law school.  Applicant must be eligible to sit for the Patent Bar Exam and be interested in pursuing a career in patent law.

Applicant must either be applying to law school or be currently enrolled in law school.

The James E. Beckley Securities Arbitration and Law Writing Competition
Amount:  $500, $750 and $1,000
Deadline:  September 18, 2015

Applicant may be any student who attends a law school in the United States.  Full-time students who are not law students but who write law-related papers as part of a course at an American law school are also eligible.

Amount:  $1,000
Deadline:  Ongoing

Applicant must be an undergraduate or graduate student studying in the field of law who has an interest in helping others, has a passion for participating and improving the practice of law and dispute resolution and is highly motivated.
