Do I get my diploma at the graduation ceremony?

Diplomas are conferred only at the May ceremony. Graduates may otherwise pick up their diplomas at Marquette Central or arrange to have them mailed from the Office of the Registrar.

How else can I get my diploma?

If you are unable to attend Commencement or if you graduated in a month other than May, there are three ways to receive your diploma:
  • Visit Marquette Central with a photo ID to pick up your diploma.

  • Authorize another person to pick up your diploma. Please write a brief letter authorizing a specific person to receive your diploma. Make sure you sign the letter. Marquette Central can not release the diploma without your signature. You may give this letter to the authorized person to present to Marquette Central or you can mail or fax the letter to Marquette Central in advance. Click here for mailing and fax information. The authorized person must present a photo ID to receive the diploma.

  • Request that your diploma be mailed to you. See below for details.

How do I have my diploma sent to me?

The Office of the Registrar can send your diploma to you via UPS. You must complete and sign the Request for Delivery of Diploma by Mail.

The completed form must be signed and mailed or faxed to us. Click here for mailing and fax information.

How do I remove a hold on my diploma?

If you have a bursar hold, your diploma will not be issued until the hold is resolved. Please contact the Office of the Bursar at (414) 288-4000 to discuss your bursar hold.
