Brief Statement of Scholarly Interests
My program of research focuses on migration and health with an emphasis on Mexican immigrant women’s experiences. My current research explores how young Mexican women describe learning about relationships within their family; social/familial support after immigration, and community based participatory research exploring the context of the lives of Latinas in Milwaukee.
