Prospective Faculty Marquette University College of Nursing is seeking applications for an assistant professor position for August 2008.
Marquette is a Catholic, Jesuit institution with more than 11,000 students located in the heart of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Over 600 students are enrolled in our accredited undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral nursing programs. Graduate programs include: Nurse-Midwifery, Pediatric, Adult, Acute Care, and Older Adult Nursing, Health Care Systems Leadership, and Clinical Nurse Leadership. Advanced practice roles include nurse-midwife, clinical nurse specialist, and nurse practitioner. Transition to DNP programs is planned. The PhD program prepares teacher-scholars with an emphasis on vulnerable persons. Faculty members are actively engaged in research generating more than $1 million in extramural funding annually.

Minimum requirements include: graduate degree in nursing, earned doctorate in nursing or related field, eligibility for Wisconsin licensure, and commitment to developing and/or continuing a program of research.
