The Marquette International Friendship Program will begin each year at the start of the Marquette fall semester and run until the end of the spring semester. 

The Office of Internatinoal Education will host a Meet-Your-Match kickoff event where community volunteers will have the opportunity to meet their students for the first time and a goodbye event at the end of the academic year.

Key 2011-2012 program dates:

August 19 - Volunteer applications due
September 9 - Student applications due
September 26; 5-6 p.m. - Student Orientation
September 26; 6-7 p.m. - Volunteer Orientation
October 6; 6-8 p.m. - Meet Your Match Kickoff Event
April 18; 6-8 p.m. - End of Year Event
