Students are invited to participate in the Marquette International Friendship Program during new student orientation. This program provides a unique opportunity for students to experience American culture in a typical U.S. home. 

In order to ensure the friendship works, students are responsible for responding promptly to phone calls or emails from their matched community friends. They are also responsible for upholding commitments they have made to meet with their community friends or providing adequate notice if they cannot be present.
