Temporary Housing Upon Arrival
A limited number of rooms in a university residence hall have been reserved for accommodations as needed from August 5 to August 21. The rooms provide temporary housing while students arrange for permanent housing or for undergraduate students who will move into their permanent residence hall rooms on August 21. All students must depart from the temporary room on or before Wednesday, August 21. Depending upon the number of student requests, two students may be assigned to each room. The cost is approximately $15.70 per night or $110 per week.
If you want assistance with temporary housing, you must submit the Arrival Information Form by July 26.
If your family members will accompany you to Marquette, we recommend that you make reservations directly with a local hotel as soon as possible. There are many cultural events in Milwaukee, and sometimes hotels become filled. Here is more information about hotels in downtown Milwaukee and other travel information.
Permanent Housing during the Academic Year
Undergraduate students who have submitted an application for a university residence hall for the spring semester may move into their residence hall rooms on August 21. More information about living on-campus is available on the Living at Marquette webpage.
Exchange students who have been assigned housing in Campus Town Apartments may move into their assigned apartments on or after August 15.
Students who wish to live in apartments on or near the campus should plan to arrive early enough to locate satisfactory accommodations. The Office of University Apartments and Off-Campus Student Services can help you begin your search for an apartment. You may contact the office via e-mail or visit the Off-Campus Student Services webpage.
