Marquette University recognizes the academic achievements of applicants by awarding merit-based scholarships to admitted students.  All applicants are automatically considered for the Père Marquette Award at the time of admission. The other scholarships require admitted students to apply for that scholarship. Applicants are encouraged to following the instructions noted for each in the information below and to apply before the scholarship application deadline.

Marquette university is not able to award need-based scholarships. Merit scholarships cannot cover all costs. The largest merit scholarship still requires recipients (and their families) to cover the costs of room, board, fees, books, etc.  Applicants are encouraged to review the list of comprehensive costs so they and their family can determine their budget for studies at Marquette.
