Dr. John Mantsch, associate professor of biomedical sciences, specializes in pharmacology and studies the connection between stress and cocaine addiction. He is a member of Marquette’s Integrative Neuroscience Research Center and the director of the College of Health Sciences’ Biomedical Sciences Summer Research Program. Mantsch and colleague Dr. David Baker recently founded Promentis Pharmaceuticals, a company developing a treatment for schizophrenia and other central nervous system conditions.
