Currently, IRB submissions (new studies, amendments, annual reviews, 3-year renewals, etc.) must be submitted either electronically through a SharePoint account, or on paper. Beginning September 1, 2013, SharePoint will be replaced by standard e-mail to orc@mu.edu. See below for detailed instructions.
INSTRUCTIONS:
| 1. | IRB submissions must be e-mailed to orc@mu.edu. |
| 2. | Attach all required documents (e.g., Protocol Summary Form, Consent Form, Flyers, grant applications, survey instruments, interview guides, etc.). File sizes should be reduced when possible. |
| 3. | E-mail address of the sender must be that of the Principal Investigator (PI). If the PI is a student, the faculty advisor must be cc’d. |
| 4. | The subject line must display one of the following: |

| 5. | In the body of e-mail, include the title of the study and an itemized list of attachments. |
| 6. | Once submitted, the IRB will e-mail back a response of receipt. If you do not receive an e-mail confirmation of submission within 3-5 days of submission, please contact the IRB by phone (288-7570) or email (orc@mu.edu) to verify receipt. |
