Program Overview
Companions in Leadership is a year-long development program designed for sophomore and junior students looking to grow in their own understanding of leadership. Companions is a selective program that will challenge participants to live and act in ways that enhance their awareness of self, others, and the larger community.

Program Structure
The program will take place over the course of one academic year. The first semester will include small group discussions around various aspects of leadership. The second semester will allow students to champion a community immersion project that will result in positive social change on the Marquette campus. Students will be asked to identify and build a mentoring relationship with someone who will provide challenge and support during the program, and potentially beyond.

Time Commitment
During the first semester, students will engage in six small group dialogue sessions, each lasting approximately 90 minutes. During the second semester, groups will be responsible for executing a community immersion project involving meetings with campus constituents, advisors, and other group members.
