Tentative Schedule of Events

Marquette University realizes commuter students have different transitional needs than our students that live on campus and we have planned, in addition to the general orientation events for all students, multiple programs and activities to help facilitate your transition.

We hope you will attend the scheduled commuter student events listed below. You are also invited to attend all New Student Orientation events.

Take a Carillon Class

Starting the Spring 2009 semester, MUSI 85: Carillon Discovery will be offered. In this introduction to the world of carillon, the student explores the history, musical characteristics, bell foundries and carillons worldwide through readings, recordings, the Internet and visits to the university carillon. This discovery is designed for a greater appreciation of the carillon for both musicians and non-musicians.
