

Marquette University realizes transfer students have different transitional needs than freshmen and we have planned multiple programs and activities to help facilitate your transition.
We hope you will attend the scheduled transfer student events listed below. You are also invited to attend all New Student Orientation events.

| This event is a wonderful opportunity get a taste of life at Marquette and in Milwaukee. While enjoying a picnic-style dinner of sub sandwiches and chips from one of campus’ signature sandwich shops, Jimmy John’s, you will join other students (new and returning) for an evening of live jazz music at one of downtown Milwaukee’s most popular summertime traditions, Jazz in the Park. | |

| This program is designed to introduce all new students to community expectations and values as well as to help you explore social issues and decisions you may face while at Marquette. Immediately following, you will discuss these issues in a second group meeting. | |
| 5 PM | TRANSFER STUDENT DINNER OFF CAMPUS |

Join us at one of Milwaukee’s downtown restaurants for a traditional Italian dinner with new and returning students. A $15 fee will pay for your dinner and transportation. Please watch your mail for a reservation card. |

| Take advantage of this opportunity to check out the activities that make Marquette fun after dark! | |

| 9 AM | URBAN CONNECTION |
| Spend your morning getting to know other new students as you work together to serve the surrounding Marquette neighborhoods. Space is limited, so complete and send in the registration form (included in the larger New Student and Family Orientation mailing) as soon as possible. | |
| 11 AM | UPASS ADVENTURES: VARIOUS LOCATIONS |
| Learn to use your new bus pass as you venture our into downtown Milwaukee and the surrounding areas. | |
