Winter Orientation begins in January each year, and welcomes new first year and transfer students who are beginning their Marquette career in the spring semester. We recognize the unique background and interests of each student and we provide a program that is personalized to students’ needs.

Beginning in December all transfer and new students will receive an invitation via their Marquette e-mail account to participate in the Winter Orientation program. Having trouble accessing your eMarq account? Visit the IT Services website.

Residence Halls open on Sunday, January 11th at 8:00 a.m. Visit the Office of Residence Life for more information. Excited about getting involved at MU? Learn about the Winter Organization Fest and the Community Service Fair!

2015 Winter Orientation Timeline

Winter Orientation Staff members will host first-year new student meetings. The meeting format will be determined by the new student and the staff member and could range from campus tours, discussions over coffee or a meal in the Residence Halls.
