Marquette Volunteer Corps is a semester-long opportunity for Marquette students to volunteer in a meaningful way, building relationships with community members as well as their peers.
MVC volunteers join a team of 5-8 members that volunteer together every week for a semester. Each team is situated around an issue area, such as health, the environment, literacy, etc. You'll spend the semester serving alongside your team and learning more about the issue, Milwaukee, and yourself.
Choose an issue area you care about:
Marquette Volunteer Corps is now full for Fall 2013. If you are interested in volunteering in Spring 2014, contact email@example.com for more information.
Ready for a leadership role? Become a Team Leader! If you have volunteer and leadership experience, consider taking a leadership role with Marquette Volunteer Corps during spring semester. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org for information.
Volunteers are expected to commit to volunteering every week for an entire semester, so plan ahead for your other responsibilities. We understand that schedules get busy, so 1-2 absences per semester can be discussed with your Team Leader.
Marquette undergraduates spend an estimated 455,000 hours in service to the community each year.
