I work in philosophy of action, ethics, philosophy of mind, and epistemology in Western and Asian philosophical traditions (particularly Buddhism), both contemporary and historical. My research focuses on the nature and function of rationality, intentionality, subjectivity and normativity involved in ethical agency. I am particularly interested in non-deliberative or spontaneous modes of ethical agency.
