The Marquette Sports Rehabilitation Clinic (MSRC) is a full-service outpatient rehabilitation and sports medicine clinic that offers the expertise of licensed Physical Therapists and licensed Athletic Trainers with the convenience of an on-campus location. MSRC is a part of the College of Health Sciencesí nationally ranked Department of Physical Therapy. MSRC primarily serves the Marquette community including students, staff, faculty and spouses/dependents of employees. MSRC does additionally welcome patients from the greater Milwaukee community at large. The ComMUnity PT Clinic is a student run division of the MSRC which provides pro bono care to the underserved and uninsured in the city of Milwaukee.
MSRC provides hands-on, one-on-one manual orthopedic Physical Therapy to all of its patients with thorough one hour evaluation followed by 45 minute treatment sessions. It is our goal to provide the highest quality, evidence-based Physical Therapy care in a warm and welcoming environment. We are proud to have four Physical Therapists on staff, three of which are Orthopedic Certified Specialists
We additionally offer custom orthotics, dry needling and ergonomic assessments to our clients as needed. Given our level of experience and expertise, we are able to provide outstanding clinical educational opportunities to our students through a variety of experiences including shadowing, work assignments as technicians and clinical internships. Enhancing our studentís educational experience and opportunities is a major secondary purpose of MSRC while providing high quality physical therapy care.
The mission of the Marquette Sports Rehabilitation Clinic is to provide all patients with the highest quality of Physical Therapy services in a supportive and educational atmosphere to best enable them to achieve their goals. We strive to ensure high quality Physical Therapy care with cost effective outcomes for those we serve by providing evidence-based practice in a team-oriented, academic environment. We also strive to provide excellent clinical learning opportunities for our DPT students during the course of their undergraduate and professional education.
The Marquette Sports Rehabilitation Clinic will be a leader in the Greater Milwaukee area for the provision of autonomous Physical Therapy services. We will be committed to demonstrating leadership in our community and within the profession. We will pursue the highest quality of care through innovative practice, financial responsibility and concern for healthcare accessibility issues. We will work to advance the profession by educating future clinicians, participating in research and emphasizing functional outcomes in our care.
