A political science major requires 33 credit hours of POSC courses in one of five concentrations. You may wish to download and print: Political Science Major Requirements Worksheet.
The 33 semester hours will include at least two upper-division writing development courses.
At least fifteen hours of the POSC courses must not be counted toward another major.
Students may wish to write a senior thesis.
There are special requirements for teaching majors.
