The Marquette community has committed to creating a comprehensive, university-wide strategic plan to submit to the University Board of Trustees in May 2013. When completed, the strategic plan will provide a blueprint to guide the university's priorities and decision-making for the next five to seven years. This strategic planning website is established as a vehicle for the campus community to learn about the strategic planning process and provide feedback.

News AND Updates

President Scott R. Pilarz, S.J., announced the development of a university-wide strategic plan as a priority for the 2012–13 academic year during his inaugural Presidential Address on Jan. 24, 2012. As we undertake this process, we will post frequent updates about milestones and opportunities to provide feedback.

Strategic Plan endorsed by Board of Trustees, May 1, 2013
Father Pilarz announced in a letter to the Marquette community that the strategic plan, Beyond Boundaries: Setting the Course for Marquette’s Future, has been endorsed by the Board of Trustees. This affirmation follows on the heels of votes of endorsement from the University Academic Senate, the Dean’s Council and the President’s Cabinet.

Environmental scan prepared by the Strategic Plan Coordinating Committee
The environmental scan prepared by the Strategic Plan Coordinating Committee has been posted online for the campus community to view. It contains trends and data on key external environmental factors that the university should consider in developing and implementing a new strategic plan.
