Physical Therapy

Marquette University has instituted a six-year educational curriculum leading to a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) through its Department of Physical Therapy. The program consists of a pre-professional phase (first 3 years) and a professional phase (last 3 years). Students accepted into the program as freshmen are guaranteed admission to the professional phase provided they meet the minimum requirements.

Admissions Requirements

A small number of transfer students are accepted into the professional phase (year 4) each Fall.

  • Applications must be submitted by February 1st of the year preceding expected enrollment.
  • Applicants must have a Bachelors degree (with a minimum 2.40 G.P.A.)
  • # Applicants must also provide documentation of 80 hours of observation in a physical therapy setting.
