PUBLIC SAFETY ALERT – Wednesday, October 23, 2013

A robbery occurred at a residence of three Marquette students living in the 1900 block of W. Kilbourn Ave. sometime between 8:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. on Oct. 23. The incident was originally reported to the Milwaukee Police Department who informed the Department of Public Safety at 1:16 a.m. Oct. 24.

At the time of the incident, the Marquette students were living with a non-Marquette affiliated individual who invited several other non-Marquette affiliated individuals into the residence. When four of the non-Marquette affiliated individuals arrived at the residence, they presented weapons and removed property. The occupants of the house were not physically harmed during the event and walked to the Milwaukee Police Department Avenues West Substation to report the incident.
