PUBLIC SAFETY ALERT

At approximately 1:18 a.m. Sunday, April 14, shots were fired by a male suspect with a handgun from one vehicle toward another at 20th Street and Clybourn Street. The Milwaukee Police Department, which had tracked both vehicles from an alleged altercation earlier, reported that a black male from a white early-model Chevrolet Impala (no license plate information available) fired shots toward a black Toyota Camry (no license plate information available). The white Impala then fled eastbound on Clybourn; those in the Camry have been detained by MPD. No one involved is affiliated with Marquette, and no one was physically injured. If you see anyone matching any of the following descriptions, please contact DPS immediately at 288-1911.
