PUBLIC SAFETY ALERT – July 7, 2014

At approximately 10:26p.m., the Department of Public Safety was informed that an armed robbery took place in the 7-Eleven located in the 1600 block of West Wells Street. Two suspects (described below) entered the establishment, implied a weapon via a note handed to the cashier and demanded cash. The victim handed over cash and the two suspects fled on foot. Witnesses at the scene reported the suspects fled westbound on Wells.
The victim sustained no physical injuries. DPS and the Milwaukee Police Department responded to the scene and are investigating the incident. If you see anyone matching these descriptions, please contact DPS immediately at (414) 288-1911.

Age----------------- 30-50 years old
Build----------------Approximately 160 pounds
Height--------------Approximately 5'10"
Appearance---------Dressed in a gray, zip-up hooded vest and dark jeans, wearing a black stocking cap

Sex----------------- Male
Race---------------- Black
Age----------------- 40-50 years old
Build----------------Approximately 180 pounds
Height--------------Approximately 5'8"
Appearance---------Dressed in a a gray jacket, black sweatpants and a baseball hat
