PUBLIC SAFETY ALERT – July 29, 2014

At approximately 11:18 p.m., the Department of Public Safety was informed that a strong-arm robbery took place in the 1600 block of West State Street. Four to five suspects in a vehicle (described below) approached a male Marquette student and demanded property. The victim handed over property including a cellular phone and wallet and the suspects fled north on 16th Street in their vehicle. An ambulance was called to the scene for the victim, who suffered minor physical injuries.

DPS and the Milwaukee Police Department responded to the scene and are investigating the incident. If you see anyone matching these descriptions, please contact DPS immediately at (414) 288-1911.
