The Department of Public Safety maintains a daily log that records, by the date the incident was reported, all crimes and other serious incidents occurring on campus, within non-campus buildings or properties, on public property or within the department's patrol boundaries. The daily log is available for public inspection at the department's headquarters, located at 749 N. 16th St.

The daily log includes the nature, date, time and general location of each crime reported to the department, as well as the disposition of the complaint, if the information is known at the time of publication. The department posts incidents in the Campus Crime Log within two business days of receiving a report and reserves the right to exclude reports under certain circumstances. The below listed incidents have been forwarded to the Milwaukee Police Department.

#13-0576          Theft; Occurred between Mon., 5/6/13 at 7:00 p.m. and Tue., 5/7/13 at 1:00 a.m.  Reported Tue., 5/7/13 at 4:23 p.m.  A student-employee reported that unknown person(s) removed her unsecured, unattended property est. at $60 from McCormick Hall.

OFF CAMPUS

#13-0571          Theft; Occurred Wed., 4/3/13 at 8:00 p.m.  Reported Tue., 5/7/13 at 7:40 a.m.  A person not affiliated with Marquette reported that an acquaintance not affiliated with Marquette removed his property est. at $1,300 in the 2300 block of W. Wisconsin Avenue.  MPD contacted.

#13-0572          Harassment; Occurred between Sat., 6/1/12 at 12:01 a.m. and Tue., 5/7/13 at 9:00 a.m.  Reported Tue., 5/7/13 at 9:47 a.m.  A student reported being harassed by an acquaintance not affiliated with Marquette.

#13-0573          Possession/Consumption Of Alcohol; Occurred and reported Tue., 5/7/13 at 9:51 a.m.  DPS observed a person not affiliated with Marquette consuming alcohol in the 700 block of N. 19th Street.  MPD was contacted and cited the subject for public drinking.

#13-0575          Theft; Occurred Tue., 5/7/13 between 4:15 p.m. and 4:19 p.m.  Reported Tue., 5/7/13 at 4:19 p.m.  A person not affiliated with Marquette removed property from a business in the 1600 block of W. Wisconsin Avenue.  DPS located and verbally detained the subject and he was taken into custody by the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office.

#13-0578          Disorderly Conduct; Occurred and reported Tue., 5/7/13 at 7:42 p.m.  A student reported that a person not affiliated with Marquette and an unidentified subject acted in a disorderly manner in the 600 block of N. 16th Street.  MPD contacted.

#13-0579          Vandalism To Motor Vehicle; Occurred between Tue., 5/7/13 and Wed., 5/8/13 at 6:00 a.m.  Reported Wed., 5/8/13 at 6:11 a.m.  An employee reported that unknown person(s) vandalized her secured, unattended vehicle in the 1800 block of W. Wisconsin Avenue causing an est. $500 in damage.  MPD contacted.

#13-0564          Vandalism; Occurred Mon., 5/6/13 at 12:00 p.m.  Reported Mon., 5/6/13 at 12:26 p.m.  Unknown person(s) placed a sticker on a mirror in a restroom in Todd Wehr Chemistry.  Facilities Services contacted.

#13-0566          Theft; Occurred Mon., 5/6/13 at 3:24 a.m.  Reported Mon., 5/6/13 at 12:52 p.m.   A student removed a university computer connector without consent in Raynor Library.  The student returned the connector.

#13-0569          Misrepresentation Of Age:  Falsified Identification Card; Occurred and reported Mon., 5/6/13 at 8:31 p.m.  An underage student was in possession of another person’s identification card in Structure One.

OFF CAMPUS

#13-0568          Theft From Person/Purse Snatching; Occurred Mon., 5/6/13 between 5:15 p.m. and 5:22 p.m.  Reported Mon., 5/6/13 at 5:30 p.m.  A student reported that a person not affiliated with Marquette removed her wallet from her backpack on a Milwaukee County Transit bus.  DPS later located the suspect and most of the student’s property was recovered.  Est. loss is $20.  MPD took the suspect into custody.

#13-0549          Criminal Trespass; Occurred and reported Fri., 5/3/13 at 1:05 p.m.  A person not affiliated with Marquette trespassed in a business in the 800 block of N. 16th and was cited by MPD.

#13-0550          Vandalism; Occurred between Tue., 4/30/13 at 4:01 p.m. and Fri., 5/3/13 at 4:01 p.m.  Reported Fri., 5/3/13 at 4:01 p.m.  Unknown person(s) vandalized a fire alarm pull station cover in McCormick Hall causing an est. $100 in damage.  Facilities Services contacted.

#13-0552          Possession/Consumption Of Alcohol:  Underage; Occurred and reported Fri., 5/3/13 at 8:06 p.m.  Three underage students were in possession of alcohol in O’Donnell Hall.  MPD notified.

OFF CAMPUS

#13-0551          Sexual Assault; Occurred between Mon., 10/15/12 at 12:01 a.m. and Thu., 11/15/12 at 12:01 a.m.  Reported Fri., 5/3/13 at 3:51 p.m.  A student reported being touched in an inappropriate manner by an acquaintance in a residence in the 2000 block of W. Wisconsin Avenue.  MPD contacted.

#13-0557          Harassment; Occurred between Thu., 11/1/12 at 12:01 a.m. and Fri., 5/3/13 at 9:00 p.m.  Reported Sat., 5/4/13 at 12:49 p.m.  Two students reported being harassed by another student.

#13-0542          Theft; Occurred Tue., 4/30/13 between 1:00 p.m. and 3:45 p.m.  Reported Thu., 5/2/13 at 12:40 p.m.  A person not affiliated with Marquette reported that unknown person(s) removed his unsecured, unattended property est. at $65 from a business in the 1600 block of W. Wisconsin Avenue.  MPD contacted.

#13-0547          Sexual Assault; Occurred Fri., 5/3/13 between 12:50 a.m. and 1:02 a.m.  Reported Fri., 5/3/13 at 1:09 a.m.  A student reported being sexually assaulted by another student in Schroeder Hall.  MPD was contacted and took the student suspect into custody.

OFF CAMPUS

#13-0543          Disorderly Conduct; Occurred Thu., 5/2/13 at 4:30 p.m.  Reported Thu., 5/2/13 at 4:33 p.m.  A student reported that an acquaintance not affiliated with Marquette acted in a disorderly manner in the 800 block of N. 22nd Street.  MPD contacted.

#13-0544          Robbery Occurred Thu., 5/2/13 between 6:30 p.m. and 6:35 p.m.  Reported Thu., 5/2/13 at 7:44 p.m.  A student reported that an unidentified subject approached the student at 18th Street and Wisconsin Avenue.  The suspect asked the student for money.  The student perceived the suspect as having a weapon and gave the suspect $2.  MPD contacted.

#13-0546          Prowling Violation; Occurred Fri., 5/3/13 at 12:27 a.m.  Reported Fri., 5/3/13 at 12:28 a.m.  A student reported that a person not affiliated with Marquette was prowling in the 800 block of N. 17th Street.  DPS located the suspect and he was taken into custody by MPD.

#13-0548          Burglary; Occurred Fri., 5/3/13 between 2:00 a.m. and 2:18 a.m.  Reported Fri., 5/3/13 at 2:55 a.m.  A student reported that unknown person(s) removed property from his unsecured, unattended residence in the 800 block of N. 17th Street.  The property was later recovered damaged.  Est. damage is $1,000.  MPD notified.

#13-0540          Sexual Assault; Occurred between Sat., 4/13/13 at 10:30 p.m. and Sun., 4/14/13 at 12:30 a.m.  Reported Wed., 5/1/13 at 2:55 p.m.  A student reported being sexually assaulted by another student in a residence in the 2000 block of W. Wisconsin Avenue.  MPD contacted.
