The department posts incidents in the Campus Crime Log within two business days of receiving a report and reserves the right to exclude reports under certain circumstances. #13-1190 Theft; Occurred Tue., 10/1/13 between 11:00 a.m. and 11:10 a.m. Reported Wed., 10/2/13 at 10:31 a.m. A student reported that unknown person(s) removed his unsecured, unattended bicycle est. at $400 in the 2000 block of W. Wisconsin Avenue. MPD contacted.
#13-1192 Assist: Law Enforcement; Occurred and reported Wed., 10/2/13 at 8:11 p.m. DPS assisted MPD in detaining a person not affiliated with Marquette in the 800 block of N. 16th Street. The subject was a battery suspect in an off campus location involving another person not affiliated with Marquette. MPD took the suspect into custody.

#13-1189 Theft; Occurred Tue., 10/1/13 at 6:13 p.m. Reported Tue., 10/1/13 at 8:25 p.m. An employee reported that unknown person(s) removed his secured, unattended bicycle outside Abbottsford Hall. Est. los is $435.

#13-1187 Robbery: Attempted; Occurred Tue., 10/1/13 at 11:50 a.m. Reported Tue, 10/1/13 at 11:54 a.m. Two unidentified subjects approached a student walking in the 1600 block of W. Wisconsin Avenue. One of the subjects attempted to forcibly remove the student’s property. The subjects fled without obtaining the student’s property. The student was not injured. MPD contacted.

#13-1165 Vandalism To Motor Vehicle; Occurred Fri., 9/27/13 between 9:30 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. Reported Fri., 9/27/13 at 11:07 a.m. Unknown person(s) poured discarded cooking oil over a vehicle belonging to a person not affiliated with Marquette in Lot U. The oil also splattered against a student’s vehicle and a vehicle belonging to another person not affiliated with Marquette. MPD and Facilities Services contacted.
#13-1166 Theft; Occurred Sat., 9/21/13 between 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. Reported Fri., 9/27/13 at 2:06 p.m. A student reported that unknown person(s) removed her unsecured, unattended MUID from Straz Business Administration and used it without her consent. Est. loss is $5.
#13-1176 Drug Offenses & Possession/Consumption Of Alcohol: Underage; Occurred and reported Sat., 9/28/13 at 11:25 p.m. An underage student was in possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia in Cobeen Hall and also admitted consuming alcohol. The student was taken into custody by MPD, cited and released.

#13-1175 Hit & Run Accident; Occurred and reported Sun., 9/29/13 at 1:20 a.m. A vehicle driven by an unidentified driver struck a student walking across the street in the 1300 block of W. Wells and fled the scene. The student was not injured. MPD contacted.
#13-1177 Possession/Consumption Of Alcohol: Underage; Occurred and reported Sun., 9/29/13 at 1:40 a.m. A student’s underage guest in the 1600 block of W. Wells admitted consuming alcohol at an unknown location and was cited by MPD.
