LIMO Drivers are responsible for safely transporting Marquette students, staff and affiliates within an established service area. While conducting transports, LIMO Drivers "observe and report" any suspicious or illegal activity that they may witness. Must possess a valid driver's license. Safety Patrollers are responsible for escorting Marquette affiliates on campus and in the near off-campus area. While patrolling their specific zones, each Safety Patrol Unit is on the lookout for any suspicious or illegal activity. Functioning as extra "eyes and ears" for the Department of Public Safety, Safety Patrollers play a significant role in keeping the campus safe.
Support Services staff are responsible for general duties assigned to them by the Transportation Coordinator and other divisional supervisors. These duties include special transports, interdepartmental assignments, and maintenance tasks for all departmental equipment, vehicles, and facilities. Must posses a valid driver's license.
The Marketing Projects Coordinator (MPC) is responsible for coordinating all advertising needs for Transportation Services. Additional duties include assisting in recruitment of new employees, creating ads, signage, promotions and communications, as well as developing new projects and ideas. The Marketing Projects Coordinator will also make regular contributions to The Rumor Mill newsletter, which will be distributed to all student employees. Innovative, design-oriented individuals are encouraged to apply. (Currently Filled)
Office Assistants (OAs) are responsible for providing support services to the department's secretarial and clerical staff. OAs perform various clerical duties which include, but are not limited to, typing, filing, copying, answering phones, operating the Parking Office's cash register, providing customer service and basic data entry. Previous experience in an office setting is helpful but not required. (Currently Filled)
