Students Called to Active Military Service Marquette University has a policy to assist our students who may be called to active military service while enrolled in school. The student's responsibility: Contact your college office informing them of your activation Provide a copy of your activation orders to your college The college office will provide guidance as to options regarding course enrollment, grades, financial aid, bursar, and registration as needed. If you are receiving Veterans Affairs (VA) educational benefits, you must also contact the Veterans Benefits coordinator in the Office of the Registrar and provide a copy of your activation orders, as it may affect your VA benefits. Either prior to or upon your discharge from active service, contact the Veterans Benefits coordinator in the Office of the Registrar for information on what needs to be accomplished to resume your studies at Marquette University and to resume your VA benefits.
