How Do I Swap Classes in CheckMarq? CheckMarq allows you to drop one class and exchange it for another class up until the close of Late Registration. Step 1: Access the Student Center via CheckMarq Click here for details. Step 2: Enroll in or Drop Classes link Click the "Enroll" link on the main page of the Student Center.  Click the "Swap" submenu and choose the appropriate term. Step 3: Swap Classes The Swap a Class page appears. In the Swap This Class section, select the class in which you are currently enrolled that you wish to drop. In the With This Class section, you can select the class in which you wish to enroll from the Class Search tool, from the list of classes you have already placed in your Shopping Cart, or by entering the Class Number directly. After you have selected a class, you will be taken to the Enrollment Preferences page.  Enter a Permission Number if necessary or enter a number of units for the course if it is a variable unit course.  Click Next to proceed. You will be taken to a confirmation page.  Verify that you have entered the appropriate classes and click Finish Swapping. IMPORTANT: Be certain you receive a "Success" message to ensure the swap of classes has occurred. Swapping discussion or quiz sections To swap a discussion or quiz section for another discussion or quiz section under the same enrollment section, select the enrollment section in the Swap This Class section.  Enter the same enrollment section in the With This Class section.  You will be able to select a new discussion or quiz section in the next steps.   See Also: How do I drop a class?
