Technical Sergeant Christine Talamantes is the NCOIC of Personnel for Air Force ROTC Detachment 930, at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She is responsible for personnel actions for four active duty Air Force members and 71 cadets. She is assigned to was assigned to AFROTC, Detachment 930 effective June 2009.
TSgt Talamantes completed Basic Military Training at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas in May 1995. During her 15-year career as a personnelist, she has served in various administrative support roles. She began her career at Cannon Air Force Base, New Mexico as an outbound assignment counselor, then as a classification counselor at the Military Personnel Flight. She was then sent on an extended tour assignment to Howard Air Force Base, Panama where she worked as a clerk in the 24th Security Police Squadron Commander's Support Staff and Military Personnel Flight.
Directly following her tour in Panama, she returned to Cannon Air Force Base, New Mexico where she worked in various positions to include Commander's Support Staff to Assistant NCOIC, Personnel Readiness.
TSgt Talamantes deployed in 2010 in support of Operation ENDURING FREEDOM where she led a team of Army personnel as the Casualty Liaison Team Chief of Operations in the southern region of Afghanistan.
