Maj Jason Esquell

Major Jason Esquell is the Recruiting Officer, Air Force ROTC Detachment 930, at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He is tasked to recruit, educate, train, motivate, select and commission officer candidates through a comprehensive college program. He provides academic instruction on fundamental Air Force doctrine, practical leadership experience, and extensive field training emphasizing physical fitness and officership to prepare future officers for active duty.

Major Esquell is a 1998 graduate of Angelo State University and was commissioned through the Reserve Officer Training Corps. He has served in various assignments including missile combat
crew commander, satellite vehicle operator, operations procedures section chief, operations support flight commander, satellite operations training instructor supervisor, and executive
officer. Major Esquell came to Detachment 930 from Headquarters Air Force Space Command where he served as the Chief of Military Satellite Communications (MILSATCOM) Integration, Chief of Wideband MILSATCOM Operations, and the MILSATCOM Program Element Monitor.
