Each year the Golden Eagle Battalion welcomes the new MS-I (freshman) class with a three-day Incoming Cadet Orientation (ICO). New Cadets meet their new peers and their Cadet leadership in a fun, interactive learning environment. Cadets are issued uniforms and equipment, taught basic Soldier skills, complete a Land Navigation course, train with weapon simulators, and work as a team to negotiate an obstacle course. By the end of ICO, these individuals are ready to standout among their freshman class peers as strong, confident Army ROTC Cadets.
