Mr. McCullough is a U.S. Army 1st Lieutenant and an Engility ROTC Senior Military Science Instructor. Engility’s mission is to enhance and support the United States Army Cadet Command’s mission of recruiting, training, retaining, and commissioning the Army's future leaders at colleges and universities across the country.
Mr. McCullough is a native of Wisconsin, and a graduate of Marquette University's school of Business Administration. Upon graduation from Marquette, he was employed as the International Sales Representative for a Wisconsin manufacturer of hand tools. In 2007, he enlisted in the Wisconsin National Guard. He was commissioned through OCS (Officer Candidate School) as an Armor Officer and served his initial assignment as a Cavalry Scout platoon leader with the 105st RSTA in Watertown Wisconsin.
Mr. McCullough was selected to lead the SECFOR (Security Forces) platoon for the 82nd Agri-business Development Team from the Wisconsin National Guard during their mobilization and deployment to Afghanistan in 2012. He is currently the executive officer of A-Trp-1/105th CAV RSTA in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin.
His military awards and decorations include: The Bronze Star Medal, Army National Guard Component Achievement Medal, National Defense Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Armed Forces Reserve Medal with M-Device, Army Service Medal, Army Overseas Service Medal, the NATO-ISAF Medal, and the Combat Action Badge.
