All incoming freshmen must participate in our new student in-processing. This program will coincide with Marquette’s New Student and Family Orientation from 21 August to 25 August 2013. It serves as an introduction to our NROTC Program here at Marquette and illustrates what is expected of them throughout there time while a part of the Unit.  It is not a 'boot camp'.  All incoming freshman will take the oath of office on the 21st and the In-processing will culminate in a Unit briefing on the 25th.
All incoming freshman will also be expect to pass a swimming proficiency test and qualify third class swimmer. This swim test includes the following:

  1. Deep water jump
  2. 50 yard swim
  3. 5 minute prone float
  4. Shirt and trouser inflation.

Students should report between 0700-0800 on the 21st. The brief for the parents will be held at 0900 on the 21st.
