By car: Drive west on Wisconsin Ave. and turn left onto 27th Street (which becomes Layton Blvd.). Turn right at Mitchell Street, then left onto 32nd Street.

By bus: Take the #30 bus west to 35th Street, and transfer to the #35 bus heading south towards Howard Avenue. Get off on 35th Street and Mitchell, and walk east to 32nd Street.

Orientation: February 5th at 10-11:30am OR 1-2:20pm OR February 7th from 10-11:30am OR 2-3:30pm

Days/Hours of Volunteering: General days and times for service are Monday and Tuesday from 3:30-5:30pm. More information on specific days and times are available when students sign up to work with the agency.

Description of Agency/Activities: Carmen High School is a charter high school offering a focus on science and technology. Carmen's mission is to graduate all students as critical thinkers and self-directed learners prepared for success in college, meaningful careers, community involvement, and family life.

Student Role at Agency: Service Learners will be assisting in homework help with math, science, and language arts.
