Description of Agency/Activities: The Chudnow Museum is a non-profit organization that highlights the decades of the 1920s, 1930s, and 1940s through the display of the collection of Avrum M. Chudnow. Each room in this historic house features different shops or locations of Milwaukee during these decades which showcase the great items Mr. Chudnow collected over 92 years. These items allow us to tell the story of these formative decades after the First World War and before the end of the Second World War.

Student Role at Agency: The student will assist the staff of the Chudnow Museum’s Alzheimer’s monthly program.  They will help the caregivers and persons living with Alzheimer’s with activities and projects in this one and half hour, once a month program.  Activities may include dexterity projects, conversations, game playing, and general interaction with people with limited memory loss. In addition to the monthly program, the student would agree to provide 2 hours a week with planning and preparation for these monthly programs and future program planning.
