To Refugee Resettlement By Bus- Approximately 31 minutes
Take the #31 Bus from Wisconsin & N12 towardMayfair. Get off at Vliet and N60. Walk about half a mile on N 60th.
To Refugee Resettlement By Car- Approximately 10 minutes
Head west on Wells toward N 17th St. Turn right on N 27th St. Turn left onto W Highland Blvd. W Highland BLvd than turns slightly right and becomes W Washington Blvd. Turn right onto N 60th St.
To Main Building By Bus- Approximately 27 minutes
Take the #48 Bus from Wells and N10 toward South Shore. Get off at Superior +3211 S. Walk about a minute.
To Main Building By Car- Approximately 12 minutes
Get on 1-94E. Drive along I-794 E and WI-794 S. Take E Oklahoma Ave to S Lake Drive.

General days and times for service are Monday, Thursday, and Friday from 9am-3pm. More information on specific days and times are available when students sign-up to work with the agency.

Description of Agency:
Catholic Charities mission to "provide service to those in need, to advocate for justice and to call upon others to do the same" has been the core of our work since 1920. Building upon this, we measurably improve the lives of those we serve and empower them to reach their full potential. When we accomplish this, lives are transformed and the benefits to the community can be exponential starting by improving the quality of life one person at a time.
We have been reaching out to our community for nearly a century now. Our organization is dynamic -- growing, adjusting and changing as the needs people struggle with have evolved for the decades. Today we continue to respond to the changing needs within the communities of the ten counties of Southeastern Wisconsin. Our programs and services are available to anyone in need, regardless of race, religion, country of origin or financial circumstances.

Student Role in Agency:
Adult Day Center
- Assisting with activities at the Adult Day Center
- Visit with clients at Adult Day Center
- Preparing snacks
Refugee Resettlement
- Assist with English as a Second Language classes for refugees
Commitment/Requirements:
- Attend Safe Environment Training and provide proof of attendance
- Bring completed application forms to first day of service (which is also orientation)
