Address: 935 W. Wisconsin Ave (The big red church next to Straz Tower)

Transportation: The agency is within walking distance of campus.

Days/Hours of Operation: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3-4:30 p.m.

Description of Agency/Activities: The Lego Project is an after school program for 3rd grade students who attend programming at Our Next Generation. They are transported to partake in the LEGO Project at Calvary Presbyterian Church. It was developed as a program that encouraged young students to develop their problem solving skills, confidence, and perseverance. Service Learners will assist third graders as they build structures using Lego sets.

Student Role in Agency: Service Learners will work with one or two children on Lego projects. Students are needed to help supervise the students and also to encourage them and assist as necessary. Remember, however, it is s important that the students learn problem-solving skills, so encouragement is most effective.

Commitment: Marquette students are expected to spend at least 2 hours at the site each week for the duration of the semester.
