A victim advocate is available on campus to provide support and assistance in the decision-making process to those affected by sexual violence, including sexual assault, relationship violence and stalking. Services are free and confidential to the extent allowed by law. The information you provide will not be shared with your instructors or deans. The advocate will assist you in making a report to the Department of Public Safety.

The victim advocate is available during regular Marquette office hours
(8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., M-F) and can be reached by calling 414-288-5244. If you would like to speak to someone after hours, contact Public Safety and they will contact the advocate.

Upon request, the advocate can provide:

• Referrals to university and community service providers
• Assistance with housing, academic and other related concerns
• Information about reporting options
• Assistance with obtaining restraining orders and no-contact orders
• Assistance and support throughout the student conduct process
• Assistance and support throughout the criminal justice process including escorts to all necessary court proceedings
