Guidance Counselor Recommendation & Letters of RecommendationChoose your major

We only require a recommendation from your guidance counselor. Although you may have any counselor or teacher complete the form, it is usually best to have your guidance counselor provide the information.

Some Marquette applicants choose to submit additional recommendation letters. Additional recommendations are not required to complete your application, and we encourage you to save them for the scholarship application process.

Advising

Every student is required to meet with an academic adviser before registering for classes each semester. Your adviser will help you navigate through a degree program to graduate on time. If you are multi-interested, your adviser will work with you to select a class schedule and make sure you are aware of all of your options.

For more information about academic advising, visit Marquette's Career Counseling Center.
