THE MARQUETTE ADVANTAGE

THE POWER TO SUCCEED IN TODAY'S ENVIRONMENT — AND TOMORROW'S. While you will certainly develop plenty of expertise using current methods, theories and software, Marquette’s program will provide you with a background in the principles and foundations of computer science and mathematics, enabling you to adapt to constantly evolving technologies.

INTERNSHIPS. Because you’ll start your computer science courses right away, you’ll develop enough expertise to start using your major through internships, typically in your junior year, in Milwaukee and nationwide.

MORE JAVA PLEASE. Marquette continues to be a national leader in using Java network computers for instruction. UNIX and Windows operating systems are used throughout the curriculum.

PAS DE DEUX, HOW ABOUT YOU? As an undergrad, you can be a computer consultant for Milwaukee-area organizations like the Milwaukee Ballet Co., where our students have developed a donor-tracking system, or GE Healthcare, where students have identified technologies for global communications.l

YOU WANT ACCESS? Marquette has more than 600 computers loaded with the latest software for your use. And, with our port-per-pillow residence halls, you’ll have access to the university’s extremely high-bandwidth network just about everywhere.
