MUTV is a completely student run state of the art television station that broadcasts closed circuit to Marquette's Campus on channel 99. MUTV is on the air Monday through Thursday from 6:30pm to 9:30pm. Programming includes 4 sports and 4 entertainment shows per week as well as 4 nightly newscasts. MUTV also broadcasts selected men's and women's home basketball and volleyball games on channel 99 as well as on the web at www.cstv.com and www.gomarquette.com.
MUTV provides valuable practical experience for broadcast majors and is open to everyone at Marquette. MUTV has a staff of 19 and runs on over 100 volunteers. Our facilities are brand new and our equipment is state of the art. All of our equipment is industry standard or better. All shows are shot in 16x9 aspect ratio, with graphics built in Photoshop and Chyron. All in house editing is done on Avid Express Pro. We also have access to After Effects and the entire Adobe suite. Please contact our General Manager for more information.
