
Awards 2010-2011
- Jason Roberts earned first prize for his paper "'Fill and Subdue'?: Imaging God in a New Social and Ecological Context," presented at the Religion and Science Student Society of the Zygon Center for Religion and Science 2011 Student Symposium on Science and Spirituality, March 25, 2011. The prize includes a monetary award and publication in Zygon: Journal of Religion and Science. This year's topic was "What is our Human Future?"

- Paul Monson was awarded the nationally competitive Cushwa Travel Grant. The $1,000 grant, provided by the Cushwa Center for the Study of American Catholicism for research in the University of Notre Dame Archives, will be used for his project, "Reclaiming the Benedictine Mission: The Vision of Martin Marty, OSB, for Monasticism in America, 1860-1896." The project is a major step in researching his dissertation topic.
- Christopher Hadley, S.J. was selected as one of twelve religious leaders accepted for the seminary track of the inaugural Fellowships at Auschwitz for the Study of Professional Ethics (FASPE). For more information visit: http://www.mjhnyc.org/faspe/pr_seminary.html.
