Michele Korb sees herself as a facilitator of connections
between Roosevelt Middle School of the Arts teachers
and the resources that Marquette can provide. But
she offers much more. Her own background is an ideal
match for Roosevelt's creative arts focus. In addition
to being an MU instructor for both the Biology Department
and the School of Education, she is a musician and
composer.
Michele plays the guitar and trumpet, and produced
her own CD in 1994. She has been know to create songs
for Biology classes, and students respond by writing
songs for her. She states that "pulling in the
arts is a natural, and makes use of multiple intelligences."
Her work for RMSA will capitalize on the art and technology
background she brings to her role as liaison.
