Mini-Grants
Awarded
The
Executive Committee of the PT3 grant has completed its review
of applications for Summer, 2003 mini-grants. The following
Arts and Sciences faculty have been awarded grants to integrate
technology:
Virginia
Chappell—English
MC Bodden—English
Jame Schaefer—Theology
Michael Duffey—Theology
Stephen Hudson-Mairet—Performing
Arts
The
criteria for the mini-grant competition stipulated that
applicants address the integration of technology into existing
courses, the enhancement of academic core subjects, the
acquisition of technology skills, the mission of the university,
and the number of preservice teacher education students
served by the course. The Executive Committee was very pleased
with the response of the Arts and Sciences faculty to the
call for proposals. Many excellent proposals were received.
Unfortunately, all could not be funded in the first round
of competition.
